  • Which Soccer Ball Is Right For Me?

Wondering which soccer ball you need? We’ve broken down the basics so you can find your perfect match.

First, what variables should you look at when selecting a soccer ball?

    • Durability - Does it stay round, will panels stay intact?
    • Feel - Liveliness, Response off the foot, Does it get hard in the cold?
    • Air Retention - How often will I have to pump it up?
    • Who is playing with the ball? What is the age of the player, the level of play, and will this be used for games, practice, indoor or outdoor? We have a ball for every scenario.

The construction of the ball changes these variables, and various combinations create different results. Balls are made with different cover materials. The unique feel, durability and function influences which material we selected to best suit that ball's purpose. Balls are either machine stitched, hand sewn, or thermally bonded using heat.  While hand sewn and thermal bonded balls are both high of the highest quality, thermally bonded balls are also water resistant. Bladder material: it's either made from latex, rubber or butyl. Butyl provides maximum air retention and durability. Latex gives the ball a lively touch.

We've broken these factors down in this chart as a quick reference to get you exactly what you're looking for, with more details on each ball below.
